Greetings, witches and wizards! At Harrypotter Sales Shop, we want every item you purchase to bring as much joy as a trip to Honeydukes. However, we understand that sometimes a magical item might not meet your expectations. That’s why we’ve created a returns policy as reliable as a well-cast Expecto Patronum spell.
If your magical purchase doesn’t delight you, you have 15 days from the delivery date to request a return or exchange. Just like the careful selection process at Ollivander’s, we want to ensure you have the perfect magical item for your needs.

Await Instructions
We’ll send you a returns authorization and shipping instructions
Package Your Items
Include all original packaging, tags, and a copy of your order confirmation
Send It Back
Ship the package to our Returns Department using the provided label
Conditions for Returns & Exchanges
To be eligible for return or exchange, items must:
- Be in original, unused condition with all tags attached
- Be in their original packaging with all accessories included
- Be accompanied by the original order confirmation or receipt
- Be returned within 15 days of the delivery date
Non-Returnable Magical Items
Just as some magical artifacts at Hogwarts are too powerful to be returned, certain items in our collection cannot be returned for safety and hygiene reasons:
- Butterbeer & Sweets and Treats: For health and safety reasons, all consumable items are final sale
- Cosmetics: Opened cosmetic products cannot be returned for hygiene purposes
- Create Your Own Trunk items: Personalized and custom-made trunks are made specifically for you and cannot be returned unless defective
Refund Information
Once we receive your returned item and inspect it (a process that typically takes 3-5 business days), we’ll initiate your refund. The refund will be applied to your original payment method through the same secure payment processors we use for purchases (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal).
Refund Timeline:
- Credit card refunds: 5-10 business days after we process your return
- PayPal refunds: 3-5 business days after we process your return
Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Exchange Process
If you’d like to exchange an item for a different size, color, or product, please follow the same return process outlined above. In your return request, clearly state what you’d like to exchange for. We’ll process your exchange once we receive the returned item.
If the exchange item costs more than the original, you’ll need to pay the difference. If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference to your original payment method.

International Returns
As we serve witches and wizards globally (with some exceptions in Asia and remote regions), international returns follow the same process. However, please note that customers are responsible for return shipping costs for international returns unless the return is due to our error.
